What to Expect In the Event of a School Elevated Security Notification

Important Parent Information

Parents: HAS YOUR ADDRESS AND/OR PHONE NUMBER CHANGED? The Escambia County School District arranges transportation and other services by referring to the address on file at your child’s school. Please help us maintain accurate and timely service for your child and ensure we are able to contact you in the event of an emergency by keeping your address and phone number current at your child’s school.

Tardy/Early Check-Out Expectations

Tardy/Early Check-out Expectations

The school will be closely monitoring tardies and early check-outs.

Students who arrive after 7:45 AM are considered tardy.

Students who must leave prior to dismissal are considered to have an early check-out..

Parents are required to sign in tardy students.

Student tardies and early check-outs will be considered unexcused for any reason, with the exception of a child that is sent home sick or a child that has a doctor's appointment, with a doctor's note.

Parents will have up to 3 days to bring or send in notes from the doctor's office to have an unexcused tardy/early check-out excused.

Please remember that your child is here to learn and that any missed time hurts their chances to learn the required material and impacts their future.  With this in mind try to schedule appointments after the school day ends.
